Google Jobs MCP Tools for AI Agents
Let an agent search Google Jobs and return relevant job postings for roles, locations, and employers.

Why agent-optimized tools matter
Built for intent, not API schemas
Ask the agent to "find backend roles in Austin that match these skills and return the best postings." Arcade helps it use Google Jobs without making you translate that request into search syntax or API parameters.
Up to 100x fewer tokens
Google Jobs searches return focused job-posting results for the agent to evaluate instead of requiring it to load an entire jobs database. It gets the listings needed to compare roles without pulling unrelated search data into context.
Complete the workflow end to end
Search job postings, compare titles and employers, inspect the strongest matches, build a shortlist, and return the links through one toolkit designed around the complete job-search task.
Make actions predictable and controlled
Arcade tools return structured results and useful errors across users and runs. Teams can apply scope restrictions, redaction, and approval policies so agents follow the same controls every time.
Securing Google Jobs
The more capabilities agents get, the more useful they are. However, more capabilities bring more risks of undesired effects such as data loss and exfiltration.
This is why Arcade provides you with contextual rules that dictate how and when a tool is allowed to run. Arcade’s contextual access lets you govern tool visibility and behavior at every stage of execution and control who can see a tool, what inputs are allowed, and what comes back.
Learn about Contextual Access PoliciesFor Google Jobs, you can implement some of these policies:
- Decide which tools an agent is allowed to see at all. A tool that is never listed cannot be called, whoever is asking.
- Inspect the inputs a call is about to run with, and block it or send it for human approval when they fall outside what the agent should do unsupervised.
- Redact personal phone numbers and email addresses from GoogleJobs.SearchJobs results before they reach the model, so an agent cannot expose recruiter contact details.

Your questions, answered
A Google Jobs MCP server exposes job-search capabilities as structured tools that an AI agent can call through the Model Context Protocol. The agent can search Google Jobs for relevant postings and return the matching results.
Google Jobs does not provide a first-party MCP server in this integration. Arcade hosts the Google Jobs integration through SerpAPI and adds authentication, approval policies, redaction, and one way to connect from supported clients.
Arcade agents can search Google Jobs for job postings and return the matching results. The integration is read-only; agents cannot apply for jobs, contact employers, or change postings through it.
Google Jobs does not require Google account permissions. The integration uses one shared API key or secret for the SerpAPI-backed search, configured once in Arcade and kept out of the model's context.
No. Users do not connect individual Google Jobs accounts. A shared API key or secret is configured once, and searches run through that credential for the organization or application using it.
Yes. Contextual Access policies can require human approval before a call. Google Jobs only supports read-only searching, so there is no write or destructive action whose execution requires approval by default.
Arcade proxies the API call and does not persist Google Jobs content as part of normal tool execution. The shared credential is brokered and stored encrypted at rest, and the model never receives it.
Any framework or client that can connect to Arcade's MCP gateway or tool APIs works, including LangChain, OpenAI Agents, CrewAI, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Visual Studio Code, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and GitHub Copilot.
Arcade can use the shared credential while it remains valid. If the key is revoked, rotated, expires, or can no longer be used, searches stop until the credential is reconfigured.
Searches are subject to the rate limits and usage quotas of the SerpAPI account behind the configured credential. There is no separate per-user Google Jobs quota because this integration uses one shared key rather than individual user authorizations.
